TTBDP supports research and development activities of the Institute and assists in the delivery of biotech research outputs.  It develops and packages communication materials for various stakeholders and provides communication support and technology transfer services.

TTBDP Objectives

TTBDP aims to pursue strategic initiatives which are designed to attain the following business development and extension goals:

• To proactively participate in the development and transfer of intellectual property resources and know-how generated by the Institute to target clients

• To develop a nationally-recognized information center in biotechnology
• To be at the forefront of technology transfer and intellectual property management
• To enhance the interaction and linkages among the scientists, extension workers, farmers, and the private sector, which will facilitate the efficient generation, sharing and commercial application of BIOTECH innovations
• To continue and expand Biotech Innovation-Engaged Communities and Enterprises

Information Materials Development, Product Promotion and Capacity Building of Target Clients/Beneficiaries  
Inclusive Entrepreneurial Extension Engagement with Farming and Business Communities
